Pure Exposure in Sofia: minimalism, purity and a break through paper

On September 3, 2026, a new exhibition by Mireya Fleur Boutique took place in Sofia — Pure Exposure. The project continues the series started with Botanical Exposure and Amber Exposure, and introduces a new visual language for the brand: minimalism, purity, and the wow effect.

The idea of the exhibition — remove everything unnecessary

The main idea of Pure Exposure was the desire to remove from the frame everything that distracts from the flowers.

When we see a person holding a bouquet, we automatically look not only at the flowers but also at the clothes, appearance and overall image. In Pure Exposure, the person is as if absent. What remains is purity, flowers and visual effect.

The main formula of the project: minimalism + purity + wow effect + flowers.

White background and torn paper

In the frame — a white background, flowers and a torn sheet of drawing paper.

The idea came from an image: as if a hand holding a bouquet or a single flower breaks through the paper. There are several associations in this:

• a reference to a canvas that could not withstand the resistance and tore;
• the effect of an unexpected appearance;
• the moment when you tear wrapping paper, opening a gift.

The result is a visual wow effect: the viewer does not immediately understand how exactly the flower ended up in the frame.

Levitation and unexpected combinations

A separate part of the series is the idea of a levitating bouquet.

Flowers can be unusual, combine unexpectedly with each other, fly, appear out of paper. It is precisely this combination that forms the main visual language of the project.

The work of photographer Ekaterina Zubkova

The author of the series is Ekaterina Zubkova (@katrin_bulgaria) — a photographer who already participated in Botanical Exposure with an experiment on AI photography.

In Pure Exposure, Ekaterina continues her authorial style, but moves to a different visual approach: minimalist composition, where every detail matters — the gesture of the hand, the shape of a petal, the moment the paper tears.

Hand model and makeup

The hand model and makeup artist of the project is Victoria Medinskaya (@victoria.medinskaya21).

It is her hand that becomes the very visual accent around which the entire series is built. Nails and makeup by studio @_nail_grimerka_bg.

Shoot location

The project was filmed at photo studio @moments_studiobg in Sofia — a space where a clean white background and work with light became a natural partner for the minimalist concept.

Mireya Fleur Boutique: flowers as visual art

Pure Exposure is the third project in the Exposure series from Mireya Fleur Boutique. Each exhibition explores flowers in a new context: Botanical Exposure — emotion and AI experiment, Amber Exposure — fashion and color, Pure Exposure — minimalism and pure form.

For the brand, floristry is not only a product. It is a way to create emotion, visual language and cultural context. Mireya works in Bulgaria, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Paris, uniting flowers with photography, fashion, art and people.

Pure Exposure shows that a bouquet can exist in any context — even when there is nothing in the frame except a hand, flowers and a white sheet of paper.
