Amber Exposure in Burgas: flowers, light and living photography

On 20 August 2026, in Burgas, the art project Amber Exposure took place, created by Mireya Fleur Boutique together with the photographer Igor Ogiy.

The project brought together floristry, fashion photography and contemporary portraiture. At the centre of its visual concept were living flowers, light, human plasticity and emotion.

The model of the project was Blagovesta Todorova (@__byankulova). The author of the photographs is Igor Ogiy (@tipppan).

Colour as part of the artistic idea

The main visual feature of Amber Exposure became its saturated amber-orange palette.

Here colour works not merely as a background. It shapes the mood of the whole series, emphasises the texture of skin, petals and fabric, intensifies the contrast between light and shadow and creates an almost cinematic feeling.

In some frames the light is soft and warm, reminiscent of the last hours of a summer day. In others it becomes dense, saturated and almost fiery.

It is precisely because of this that Amber Exposure is perceived not simply as a photo shoot but as a single visual story.

Living flowers inside the photograph

For Mireya Fleur Boutique flowers have always been something more than a decorative element.

In Amber Exposure they become a full-fledged part of the artistic image.

Roses and other flowers interact with the model, become part of her silhouette, appear next to her face, overlap the space of the frame and work on equal terms with light, make-up and fabric.

This is especially expressive in the close-up portraits, where human skin and petals turn out to be visually very close to each other.

The photograph becomes almost tactile.

Blagovesta Todorova in the image of Amber Exposure

The central image of the project was created by Blagovesta Todorova (@__byankulova).

Her plasticity, facial expression and interaction with the flowers made it possible to reveal the concept of the series not as an ordinary fashion shoot but as a full-fledged visual story.

In some frames the attention is focused on the face, the gaze and the colour. In others the model becomes part of a more complex composition of fabric, light and flowers.

Because of this the project retains its integrity, yet each frame is perceived differently.

From amber light to a black-and-white portrait

An important part of the series became the black-and-white photographs.

After the saturated orange palette they are perceived especially expressively.

When colour disappears, the viewer begins to notice form, gaze, gesture, light, shadow and the texture of the flowers more strongly.

In this way another layer of the project appears.

Colour frames act above all through the atmosphere and temperature of the image. Black-and-white ones — through form and emotion.

Together they create a single visual rhythm.

The photography of Igor Ogiy

The author of the series is the photographer Igor Ogiy (@tipppan).

In Amber Exposure he used close-ups, directional light, blur, movement, saturated colour and monochrome photography.

At the same time the series remains whole.

It is united not by a single technical device but by the feeling of a living moment.

In the frames details matter: the light on the skin, the movement of the hair, the curve of the fabric, the position of the hands, the shape of the petals and the brief emotional states that cannot be fully repeated.

It is precisely such details that turn a photograph from a beautiful image into an authored work.

On the border of fashion photography and floral art

Amber Exposure exists simultaneously in several genres.

It is a fashion shoot, portrait photography and at the same time a floral art project.

Such a combination of directions is especially close to the philosophy of Mireya Fleur Boutique.
